چکیده

High switching frequency operation in power converters leads to a significant reduction size at the cost of increased losses. Thus, soft techniques become necessary reduce WBG devices have benefit low turn-off losses, but turn-on losses are still significant. Triangular Current Mode (TCM) control can achieve zero voltage (ZVS) without adding extra resonant components or active converter. For three-phase operation, switching, sinusoidal currents, and phase synchronization achieved by operating phases combination Discontinuous Conduction (DCM), TCM clamped mode. This method is extended reactive cases this paper. The proposed scheme full ZVS for all three phases. operate DCM+TCM+Clamped modes operation. algorithms tested validated on GaN converter, achieving 99% efficiency 700 VA with density 110 W/in 3 .

Three-Phase to Single-Phase Matrix Converters: New Topology Based on New Control Method

In this paper, a new topology is proposed for three-phase to single-phase matrix converters, where more voltage levels are produced in the output in comparison with the conventional topologies. In addition, a new control method based on minimum error between the generated and the desired output voltages is proposed for three-phase to single-phase matrix converters. In the proposed control metho...

Generalized Average-current-mode Control of Single-phase Ac-dc Boost Converters with Power Factor Correction

The dissertation presents a generalized average-current-mode control technique (GACMC), which is an extension of the average-current-mode control (ACMC) for single-phase ac-dc boost converters with power factor correction (PFC). Traditional ACMC is generalized in a sense that it offers improved performance in the form of significant reduction of the current control loop bandwidth requirement fo...

Sliding Mode Control of Multilevel Power Converters

The application of sliding mode, a non-linear robust and self-contained approach, to the control problem of electronic power converters, is outlined and illustrated. On-line sliding mode control is suited to multilevel power converters as they are inherently variable structure systems. Obtained controllers are robust concerning parameter variation and perturbations and provide "Just In Time" sw...

A New Approach for Reactive Power Control of Single Phase Transformerless Inverter to Modify Power Quality in Stand Alone Micro-Grids with Current Leakage Elimination

Nowadays there has been an increasing interest in transformerless inverter for grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system due to low cost, high efficiency and light weight. One of the reasons describe the grid behavior is capability of reactive power control by inverter. According to the standard VDE-AR-N 4105, grid-tied PV inverter of power rating below 3.68KVA, should attain power factor (PF) fr...

SLIDING MODE CONTROL BASED ON FRACTIONAL ORDER CALCULUS FOR DC-DC CONVERTERS

The aim of this paper is to design a Fractional Order Sliding Mode Controllers (FOSMC)for a class of DC-DC converters such as boost and buck converters. Firstly, the control lawis designed with respect to the properties of fractional calculus, the design yields an equiv-alent control term with an addition of discontinuous (attractive) control law. Secondly, themathematical proof of the stabilit...
